Posledné letné dni (The Last Days of Summer) is no idyllic portrait of relationships. Instead, it is an unflinching reckoning with what love truly is, where it begins to fracture, and how, at times, it can wound.
Recorded directly in the rehearsal room, the album carries a palpable intimacy, even though it is driven by the force of a live electric band. All songs and lyrics were written by Lucia Piussi, who lends not only her voice but also acoustic and electric guitar and harmonica to the record.
The band behind the album features Agnes Lovecká (violin, vocals, keyboards), Jakub Kratochvíl (bass guitar), Michal Lašán (drums), and Juraj Mironov (guitars, percussion, keyboards, vocals).
“We finally fulfilled our dream of making a record that truly sounds as if the listener were there with us in the rehearsal space. The songs were recorded entirely live, often in a single take. This is what Terrible 2s really sound like,” says Lucia Piussi. “It’s a band of people who have been playing together for over twenty years, and the magic of their shared language holds everything together. You just press REC, and everything essential happens on its own.”
