Terez is a young author, mother, a wife, and a singular voice on the Czechoslovak slam poetry scene.
Under her former name, Terézia Šimová, she published "Smiešna osobná dráma" (Tatran, 2016), a work of prose capturing the adventurous, almost post-student chapter of her life - a search for ways to sidestep clichés, while navigating the hazards of part-time jobs in a print shop and the corporate grind. Today she lives in Prague. She hosts the podcast LSDolina, where she explores psychedelics, life, and the human condition. As a performer and lyricist, she has collaborated with rapper Edúv syn and the band KKR. In 2022, Ursa Minor published her book of rhymed reflections, "Rapíky mladej matere".
"Rapíky mladej matere" was born during walks with a stroller and nights of breastfeeding - verses shaped in Prague’s cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, and in the haze of sleepless hours.
Some of these texts later became the backbone of her debut album "Mala by som niečo robiť" (2025), created in collaboration with Tante Elze, Edúv syn, and Fvck_kult.
Both of her works - the book and the debut album - are available through Slnko.
