Longital’s fourteenth studio album brings another uncharted musical journey.
“The Country Runs Down Its Own Shore” is a poetic voyage through both the inner landscape of the human being and the outer landscape of the world.
The lyrics, firmly rooted in Slovak, open a space for intimate questions of existence, joy, and transience, while the English translations allow listeners beyond the borders to glimpse into this world.
The band’s music blends delicate fragility with the power of sound – from acoustic instruments through electronic layers to a charismatic voice. Each song is like a river carrying the listener along its own shore, yet at the same time flowing into the greater stream of shared experience.
The album is an invitation to pause, to listen inwardly, and to return to what is essential.
It is released on 180-gram white vinyl, CD, and streaming platforms. Supported by Sociálny a kultúrny fond SOZA, Hudobný fond and using public funding by Slovak Arts Council.
