A new collaborative project brings together two respected musicians and producers – Jonatán Pastirčák and Milan André Boronell.
Their debut EP, titled lullaby2020, offers a deep reflection on an era in which society is increasingly losing the ability to engage in dialogue.
“In the times we live in, the only way we can survive or move forward is by finding common lines,” says Jonatán Pastirčák. Together with Milan, they speak of a rare zone of mutual understanding, which they also strive to capture musically – a meeting point of two different approaches, genres, and ways of thinking, resulting in something new and deeply personal.
The EP includes five tracks, among which the title song lullaby2020 stands out – a minimalist ballad for voice, guitar, and cello. The track STYROFOAM, on the other hand, raises questions about intellectual closed-mindedness and the inability to understand opposing perspectives – pointing to a need for empathy that is so often missing today.
