Common Line was formed as a convergence of two musical worlds.
Jonatán Pastirčák, known as Pjoni or Isama Zing, has been active for a long time on both the Slovak and international scenes, acclaimed for his film, stage, and experimental pop production.
Milan André Boronell is a singer and songwriter with Afro-Cuban, African-American, and Slovak roots, moving between acoustic songwriting and contemporary alternative pop. He spends most of the year living in Montreal and, in addition to his solo work, has contributed as a producer and songwriter to several international projects (Saya Gray, Anna Justen).
Together, they create a rare zone of understanding, which they strive to capture through music as well: a meeting of two different approaches, genres, and ways of thinking, from which something new and deeply personal emerges.
