Vojtech Klinec, a.k.a. Vojtik is a versatile artist from a small central town in Slovakia.
He is engaged in music, acting, and as he expressed in one of the interviews, his greatest desire is to be happy with a roof over his head and food in his stomach.
He became widely known in the spring of 2023 with the song Detviansky sen, an impressive statement about the feelings of a young person in the environment of a small town.
In his work, Vojtik is able to name topics that seem to come from excluded communities, but are actually aimed at the whole society with its problems, low self-esteem, tendencies to discrimination and xenophobia. With this, he sets up a mirror for us and, through the reflection of his life, actually informs us that we are the ones who should change our attitudes towards the unknown, different and new.
His debut album Kvety z Podpoľania was awarded in Radio_Head Awards 2023 as debut of the year.
The second studio album MESSIASH IX will be released on November 15 and for the first time also in physical formats on LP and CD.
